Joseph Taplin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Taplin of Barre, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Joseph farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joseph is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Arthur "Tim", Lucille Hoyt, Earl and Leona Taplin; and his uncles, Frank Taplin and Sandy Campbell.
He is survived by: his son Jack Joseph Taplin; his significant other Georgia Cummings; his parents, Kelly Hoyt and Roger Taplin; and his sister Jessica Hood. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hooker Whitcomb Funeral Home (7 Academy St, Barre, VT 05641).
