Virginia E. Collins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia E. Collins (Barre, Vermont), who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia E. Collins to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Emery and Gladys Emery (Conway); her sister Dorothy (Albert); and her son Philip Collins. She is survived by: her husband Albert P. Collins; her children, Gloria Doran of Elizabethtown, PA, Ronald Collins of Barre, VT, Paul Collins of Washington, VT, Linda Collins of Barre, VT and Peter Collins of Doha, Qatar; and her brother Edward Emery of Oklahoma. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home (7 Academy St, Barre, VT 05641). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Websterville Baptist Church (143 Church Hill Rd, Graniteville, VT 05678).
