We bid farewell to Wayne E. Mugford of Barre, Vermont, born in East Corinth, Vermont, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 2, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer and Pearl; his brother Waldo; his nephew Don Mugford, Jr.; his great-nephew Todd; Lida.
He is survived by: his significant other Lida Payne; his children, Marna Getz (Charles), Colleen Carrier (Todd) and Craig Mugford (Sue); and his sister Donna Taylor. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hooker Whitcomb Funeral Home (7 Academy St, Barre, VT 05641). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Enough Ministries (24 Washington St, Barre, VT 05641).
