He was predeceased by: his parents, David Claeys and Margaret Claeys (Stowe); his nephew Lance; his close friend John Cowles; and his siblings-in-law, Robert and Elaine.
He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Bousquet of Barton; his children, Pearl, Katrina Griffin (Lonnie), Ashley Lefebvre (Gregg) and Thomas Claeys (Jen); his grandchildren, Steven, Matthew, Tyler Wilkins, Cody Griffin (Alyzah), Kristin (Evan), Payton Lefebvre (Daisy), Holden Lefebvre (Alexa), Brie-Ann and Kennedy; his stepfather Thomas Norton; his sisters, Kathleen Smith and Erika Bills; and his friends, William Cowles, David Billodeau and Ernie Steinhoff. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
