He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred LaClair and Mabel LaClair (Valley); his siblings, Alfreda Leonard, Dorothy Young and Elwin LaClair; and his son-in-law Eddie Healy.

He is survived by : his wife Margaret L. Daniels of Barton; his children, Nancy A. Durivage of Barton and Richard LaClair, Sr. (Lise) of Barton; his grandchildren, Michael Healy (Julie) of Barton, VT, Kimberly (Bernard Willey) of Waterford, VT, Richard LaClair, Jr. (Donna) of Glover and Connie (Rick Knaggs) of Barton, VT; his great grandchildren, Courtney Healy, Justin Healy, Taylor Willey Brink, Kyle Willey, Grant LaClair and Emily Knaggs; and his brothers, Maurice LaClair of Derby and Carroll LaClair (Doris) of Concord, NH..
