It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Earl Lyon (Barton, Vermont), born in Westmore, Vermont, who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Erton Beebe and Alta Zoe Woodard Lyon; his sister Marjorie Chappell (Ray); and his siblings-in-law, Caston Corlis, Joyce Morse and A. Wayne McKinnon.
He is survived by : his wife Shirley Simons; his children, Janice Sicard (Alan), Ellen Valley (Maurice), Harvey (Sue) and Dean (Jan); his sister Marilyn Corlis; and his siblings-in-law, Grace McKinnon and Bob Morse. He is also survived by eight grandkids, eighteen great grandkids and seven great great grandkids.
