We announce the death of Sandra H. Butler in Barton, Vermont, born in Hanover, New Hampshire, who passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 85. Sandra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, James L. Hayes and Grace Bullard Hayes; and her parents-in-law, Shirley Butler and Bernard Butler. She is survived by: her husband Willis Butler (Bill); her children, Sarah Butler Collins and Bernie Butler; her friend Marjorie Perkins Lowery of Barre, VT; and her pet Remi. She is also survived by three grandchildren, members of the Hobbs family.
