She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Alton and Eva Agnes Young; her husband Real Gauvin; and her siblings, Dorothy Broe, Wilfred Young Jr., Alfred Young, Don Young and Albert Young.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Staples (Rebecca), Alfred Currier (Everett), Dawn Perry (Chester Perry), Peter (Kimico Perry), Anthony (Donna Perry), Wilfred (Ginny Perry) and Leroy (Jane Perry); and her siblings, Marie Viens, John Young, Robert Young, Richard Young, Sharon Faust and Leon Young. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa Church (44 East St, Orleans, VT 05860).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Belaire Nursing Home Activity Fund, 35 Belaire Drive, Newport, VT.
