Karl Lester Short Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karl Lester Short of Bellows Falls, Vermont, born in Springfield, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Karl Lester may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Karl Lester touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his sister Anita; and his pet Sam. He is survived by: his daughters, Frances Short (James P. Stark Sr.) of Putney and Karla Hill of Springfield; and his grandchildren, Elisa J. Stark, James P. Stark, Jr., Shawn, Daniel and Jerica Hill.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Family Home.
