As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Albert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert D. Ray and Bernice Townsend Ray; his brother Charles Ray; and his grandson Matthew Liebal. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Lawrence; and his children, David Ray (Kathleen) of South Deerfield, MA, Terry Worden (Kim) of Selbyville, DE, Kathy Liebal (Dennis) of Oakdale, CT and Kelly Ahlfeld (Peter) of Winhall, VT.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Second Congregational Church (115 Hillside St, Bennington, VT 05201).
