She is survived by : her parents, Gordon Whitman and Catherine Whitman; her son Douglas Hyman; her grandson Simon Cummings; and her siblings, Valerie Whitman, Gail Buell, Melinda Whitman, Charles Whitman, Curtis Whitman and Craig Whitman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
