In loving memory of Caroline Paligo (Bennington, Vermont), who departed this world on February 28, 2026 at the age of 99. Caroline leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick J. Carey and Ruby Carey (Tobie); her son Chester Paligo; and her siblings, Lucy, Evelyn, Jean, Elizabeth, Frederick, Robert and Francis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Pratt of North Bennington, Anna O'Neill of North Adams, MA, Kathy Button Mosher of Bennington and Suzanne Davis of Shaftsbury; and her adoptive daughter Angie Serrano of New York Twenty. She is also survived by Twenty three grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home (628 Main St, Bennington, VT 05201). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Saint Francis de Sales Church (238 Main St, Bennington, VT 05201).
