We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2026, at the age of 91, Dorothy Thompson Howe in Bennington, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Thompson and Hazel Thompson (Brown); and her husband David Howe. She is survived by: her children, Jean, John and Jim (Cathy); her grandchildren, Emily (Giuseppe), Molly, Colleen, Joshua (late Ryan) and Natalie; and her great grandchild Giuseppe.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 8th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Millard Cemetery (301 Main Rd, Stamford, VT 05352).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to the Stamford Volunteer Fire Department, care of Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, 74 Marshall Street, North Adams, MA 01247.
