Jacqueline Lacross Obituary

Jacqueline "Jackie" LaCross, 26, a resident of Sparrows Way, Pownal, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at her residence. Born in Albany, NY on March 29, 1994 she was the daughter of Michelle Lee Violette and Robert LaCross. Jackie attended Catamount and Molly Stark elementary and Mt. Anthony Middle and High schools in Bennington.

Disabled since birth, Jackie was cared for at home for her entire life by her mother Michelle and other family members. Jackie loved her special music and her Spice Drops, Slim Jim's and her piano. Survivors include her parents of Pownal; seven siblings, Rachel (Jason Pratt) LaCross of Sumter, SC, Jody LaCross of Pownal, Chris (Casey Mears) Violette of North Bennington, David (Courtny) LaCross of Hoosick Falls, NY, Heidi (Zachary) Vosburgh of Bennington, Keith LaCross of Hoosick Falls and Ashley (Chris) Wright of North Bennington; several aunts and uncles including Clyde (Bonnie) Baker of Sunderland, David (Bernadette) Violette of Danby, Lasaulle Violette of Sunderland and Brian (Louise Mason) Violette of Bennington, Sandy (Pete) Ketcham and Sis (Scott) Ketchum of Sumter, SC; two maternal grandfathers, David Violette of Montana and George (Kathy) McCray of White Creek, NY; 22 nieces and nephews and several cousins.

Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. when the family will be in attendance.
