He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Gilbert and Rosalie Gilbert (LaBranie); his sons, Louis Gilbert and Thomas Rich; and his siblings, James, Fred Wright, Evelyn Smith, Jackie Vince, Fredrica Stone and Freida Tole.
He is survived by: his wife Dottie Gilbert; his brother David Wright; and his children, Crystal Dear, William Onorato, Toni Gail Lake, Pasquale Onorato, Anthony Onorato, Robert Onorato and Edward Gilbert. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and several great and great great-grandchildren.
