It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter John Mika of Bennington, Vermont, born in Chicopee, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Mika and Victoria Mika (Lesniack); and his siblings, Mike, Regina and Emily.

He is survived by : his children, David Mika (Elise) of Meredith, NH and Christine Keenan (Michael) of Shaftsbury, VT; and his sister Dorothy Newman of Massachusetts. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
