He was predeceased by: his parents, Roderick Phillips and Mary Phillips (Roberts); his daughter Deanna Phillips; and his brothers, Joe Phillips and Rod Phillips.

He is survived by: his children, Jocelyn Hay (Bill), Casandra Guetti (Tom) and Tisean Phillips (Matishaus); his siblings, David Phillips (Maxine), Jo Anne LaDuke (Mike) and Mary Alice Phillips; his grandchildren, Quintessa Hay, Brenden Hay, Caleb Hay, Cheyenne Guetti, Jaiden Guetti, Taeya Guetti, Hudson Phillips, Legend Phillips and Acelynn Phillips (Donna Barrett); Cynthia Collett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
