In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Barbara had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Barbara may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick E. Bartholomew and Katherine Bartholomew (Kehoe); and her siblings, Patricia Lotane and Robert Bartholomew. She is survived by: her children, Christopher J. Gearwar (Lori) of Benson and Lisa M. Hewes (Ed) of Benson; and her sisters, Mary Trombley of Fair Haven and Joan Ramey (Jon) of Middle Granville, NY. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church (10 Washington St, Fair Haven, VT 05743).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Rutland Area VNA and Hospice.
