He is survived by: his former wife Linda Smith; his siblings, Sandra Rilling (Ron) of Brookfield, James Smith of Bethel and Penny Griffin (Fred) of Lilliesville; and his children, Alan Smith (Stacey) of Barre, Gary Smith (Jean) of Northfield Falls, Teressa Prucha (Ted) of Bethel, Wendy Smith (Tim) of Braintree, Mellissa Forsythe (Derrick) of Royalton and Tracy Hathaway (Doug) of Bethel. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews.
