He was predeceased by: his parents, William Piper and Dorothy Piper (Henry); his wife Nancy; and his children, Michael Piper, Douglas Piper and Debra Rosẻn.
He is survived by: his children, David Piper of Bradford, VT, Nicholas Piper of Plainfield, NH and Donna Uline of Fairlee, VT; his grandchildren, Michael Piper, Arty Piper, Chris Uline, Dawnelle Weaver (Uline), Matt Piper and Brian Piper; and his brother Arthur Piper of Texas. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
