He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine; and his parents, Lillian Barker and Arthur Barker. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Lyons (Dennis), Barry Barker (Janice), Sheila Piper (Douglas) and Tina Timmins (Greg); and his grandchildren, Heidi, Shawn, Lindsay, Lucas, Michael, Arty, Gwendolyn and Alexandra. He is also survived by ten loving great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Post Mills Congregational Church in his honor.
