We announce the death of Blanche Welch of Brandon, Vermont, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her husband John Welch; her parents, Mabel Rider and Earl Rider; and her siblings, Gene Rider, Earl Rider Jr. and Brenda Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Fred Robert Elliott (Deborah Elliott) and Eugenie Angela Coursey (Frank Coursey IV); her siblings, Anthony, Leslie Rider and Regina West; her grandchildren, Kayla Coursey, Frank Coursey V, Adrienne Hall and Patrick Sherwood; and her great grandchildren, Aveyana, Azariah, Maxwell and Elliott.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home (26 Franklin St, Brandon, VT 05733). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in her memory to; Brandon American Legion Memorial Fund.
