With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Van Hook Harris (Brandon, Vermont), born in North Haledon, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on April 17, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She is survived by : her children, Jerrold Wood, Polly Wood-Holland of Portland Oregon and Alexander Wood of Conifer; and her stepchildren, Barbara Sassano of Savannah Georgia, Townes M Harris III and Gilford of New Hampshire. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and, ten Great-grandchildren.
