With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. Howe (Brattleboro, Vermont), born in Northfield, Vermont, who passed away on January 24, 2020 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara J. Howe to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Erwin Johnson and Marion Johnson (Ainsworth); her husband Louis Edward "Lou" Howe; her sons, Stephen Howe (Paula) of Hinsdale and Rodney Howe (Lynn) of Culloeka, TN; and her siblings, Nancy Kelly and Thomas Johnson. She was also cherished by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Hinsdale Fire Dept., 13 Depot St., Hinsdale, N.H. 03451 or to Rescue Inc., P.O. Box 593, Brattleboro, VT 05302.
