He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Harold MacMurtry and Eugenia MacMurtry (Ellis); his former life partner Patricia Finnell; his daughter Sarah Jones of Jacksonville, FL; his stepchildren, Jennifer Duranty of Brattleboro and David Duranty of Lake City, FL; his siblings, David MacMurtry of Rutland, Lynda Bonanno of Hingham, MA, Noreen Babcock of Proctor and Claudia Schroeder of Cummings, GA; and also Brenda Sheckter of Cummings, GA. He was also cherished by many grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
