With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Ferris of Brattleboro, Vermont, who passed away on December 24, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Ronald Ferris and Pauline Ferris (Emmon); his daughters, Colleen Ferris of Brattleboro, VT, Tara Sokolich of Naples, FL, Jen Ritchie of Brattleboro, VT and Danielle Ritchie of Hinsdale, NH.; his siblings, Tim Ferris (Lorraine), Steve Ferris, Rick Ferris (Marcie) and Helayne Barrett (Stephen); and his wife Vivian Ritchie. He was also cherished by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
