She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Robert Janson and Kathleen Holland Janson; her children, Daniel, Sarah Kennedy (Kris) of Cumberland Foreside and Robert Higgins (Denise) of Auburn; her grandchildren, Addison, Lucas, Natalie and Chelsea; and her brothers, Michael Janson (Maryanne) and Stephen Janson (Zara).

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. Albans Episcopal Church in Cape Elizabeth or Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
