He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Truex and Ruth Truex (Olmstead); and his sister Joan Barton. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Truex of Brownsville; his sons, Edward H. Truex (Samantha) of Newbury, NH and Richard Lyall Truex (Adrienne) of Littleton, CO; his grandchildren, Edward H. Truex VI (Teddy) and Abigail Hope Truex; and his siblings, Richard Truex and Betsy Steele of Connecticut.
