He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Cowles of Buzzards Bay and Laurence Cowles of Burlington; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Delia; his daughters, Helen (Milton) and Christine (Mauricio); his brother Alan Cowles (Linda); his sisters-in-law, Sally Cowles, Marie Clancy O'Flaherty, Teresa Clancy Cierans and Ann O'Gorman; his nephews, Christopher (Tami), Charles (Kim) and Brendan (Heather); his niece Emily (Greg); and his close friends, George, Judy Rose, Sut and Neva Oishi.
