It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David C Pontbriand (Burlington, Vermont), who passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert Pontbriand; his in-laws, Alfred and Mary Key; and his sisters-in-law, Grace Brunelle and Marie Key.
He is survived by: his mother Frances Pontbriand of Winooski, VT; his wife Cathy; his daughter Megan; his grandson Ari; his son Gregory; and his siblings, Kevin (Cheryl Moore), Dan (Kathy), Laurie (Bob Deep) and Steve (Sherry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in David's memory to the Vermont Kidney Association to continue their vital work supporting patients and families in need.
