She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Desautels; her son Don Desautels; her grandson Torrey Booska; and her son-in-law Dwight Blondin. She is survived by: her mother Nellie Julia Ferguson; her daughters, Kathleen Fontaine (Robert), Patricia Blondin, Carol Smiley (Eric) and Debbie Peter (Edward, III); and her siblings-in-law, John Desautels and Barbara Willis. She is also survived by six grandchildren;nine great grandchildren.

She enjoyed doing projects such as art and crafts, donating many items.
