He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Kenneth Strong and J. Shirley Strong. He is survived by: his children, Marisa Anne Strong (Matthew McNair) and Michael Allan Strong of Burlington; his wife Livy; his daughter Natalie McNair of Las Vegas; and his siblings, David Strong (Cindi) of Redding, CA, Lisa Scott (Gary) of Gresham, Murray Strong (Sami) of Helena and Erica Strong of Redmond, Oregon..
