In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Nancy had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Nancy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis C. Clapp and Lois Clapp (Halliday). She is survived by: her former husband Allen G. Shepherd; her spouse Thomas W. Martenis; her daughters, Sarah Shepherd (Mike Barnes) of Milton, Vt. and Elizabeth Montemayor (Jose); her grandsons, Henry and Charlie Montemayor of Natick, Mass.; her brother James Clapp (Mich) of Elberta; and her sibling's children, Jennifer Clapp, Deborah Halliday, Daniel Clapp and Becky Hunt. She is also survived by children and spouses; and Tom's five children and nine grandchildren.
