He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Rachlin and John C. Rachlin; and his sister Eleanor Kooby. He is survived by: his wife Catharine; and his children, Julia, Deborah, Paul, Rebecca and John. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
