We bid farewell to Ruth Stewart of Burlington, Vermont, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 20, 2026 at the age of 90. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Flemming and Maria Flemming (Helmdorf); and her siblings, Hildegard, Maryanne, Ursula, Carl and Horst.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Vernon Stewart of Troy, NY; her children, Elaine Koenig (Paul) of Starksburo, VT, Bruce Stewart (Barry Wood) of Douglas, MI, Norma Chorlian (Philip) of Fairlawn, NJ and Mark Stewart (Melissa) of Roxboro, NC; her grandchildren, Ethan Leveillee, Henry, Peter Koenig, Andrew, Maggie, Sophie, Ian Chorlian, Sarah Jensen and Samuel Stewart; and her siblings, Waltraud and Gerhard. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
