In loving memory of Stephen DeVarney (Burlington, Vermont), who departed this world on May 21, 2025 at the age of 64. Stephen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis DeVarney and Bernard DeVarney. He is survived by: his children, Taylor, Morgan and Connor; his wife Tracy DeVarney; his granddaughter Lennon Garrow; his sisters, Renee DeVarney, Patty (Mark Critchlow) and Michelle (Gary Appleby); and also, Taylor DeVarney, Morgan, Curtis Garrow, Connor and Sarah DeVarney. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Services South Chapel (261 Shelburne Rd, Burlington, VT 05401).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to an ALS organization or a local animal shelter—two causes close to his heart.
