He was predeceased by: his parents, Madeline Massucco and Colonel William M. O'Brien; and his sister Rosemary O'Brien Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Dee Dee; his children, Kathy (David Houle), Mary (Craig Brett), Sean (Nicole O'Brien) and Chris (Jamie O'Brien); his grandchildren, Brian (Jen), Dan, Tommy (Annie), Bridget Brett, Dylan, Jack Houle, Kiera, Finn O'Brien, Lily and Ava O'Brien; and his sister Patricia O'Brien Swanson.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Marks Catholic Church (1251 North Ave, Burlington, VT 05408).
