She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvert Foster and Patricia Foster (Cronin); and her brothers, Eugene Foster and Calvert Foster, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Walt Ackermann of Cabot; her children, Kate Demas (Tyler) of Northfield, Ben Ackermann of Cabot, Scott Ackermann (Angie) of North Danville and Jill Vilbrin (Steven) of Cabot; her grandchildren, Abby, Ethan, Owen, Juniper, Shae and Weston Walter; her mother-in-law Elizabeth Ackermann of Cabot; her siblings, Jayne Fradette of Morrisville, Scott Foster (Ruth) of Hardwick and Amy Smith (Kevin) of Woodbury; and her sister-in-law Sue Ackermann of Cabot. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Cabot Historical Society or the Hardwick Historical Society.
