Elizabeth Taggart Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2025, at the age of 91, Elizabeth Taggart of Castleton, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry S. Hewitt and Anna [Guyette] Hewitt; her husband Franklin K. Taggart; and her daughter Julia A. Taggart McLaughlin. She is survived by: her children, George Taggart, David Taggart, Gregory Taggart and Debra Taggart Eaton; her daughters-in-law, Suzanne Taggart and Lisa Taggart; her grandchildren, Michael J. Taggart, Travis Taggart, Anna Taggart Minahan, Jesse Taggart, Joseph Taggart, Matthew Eaton and Danielle McLaughlin; and her brother David Hewitt. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Castleton Federated Church (504 Main St, Castleton, VT 05735).
