It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Lord of Castleton, Vermont, who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Linda shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Linda farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Beckwith and Gertrude Beckwith (Prouty); her son Michael; and her siblings, Wanda Brothers and Alan Prouty.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Lord of Castleton; her children, Loni Wasilewski of West Rutland, Wendy Brown and Eric Lord; and her sister Audrey Stricklyn. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
