He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry McLaughlin and Nora McLaughlin (Fitzgerald); and his siblings, Henry Jr., Gerald, James, Anne, Sheila, Kathleen and Claire.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Mclaughlin, Colleen Loveland (Tim) and Gregory McLaughlin; his grandchildren, Kylie Mezetovic (Rijad) and Nicholas Loveland; his great grandchildren, Maddox and Mia; his sister Helen Anderson; and his daughter McKenna Ludden (Bill McNamara). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
