He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Hampton and Avis Hampton (Drown); his brother Alden Hampton; and his nephew Tim. He is survived by: his former wife Linda Hampton; his children, Sarah Hampton of Poultney, Kari Niland (Brian) of North Berwick, ME and Matthew Hampton of North Clarendon; and his siblings, Avis Rivard (Roger) of Cumberland, RI and Oren Hampton of Pahrump, NV..
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ducharme Funeral Home (1939 Main St, Castleton, VT 05735).
