She is survived by: her children, Chester Kanios Jr. (Margie Matthews), Kim Kanios and Michael Kanios (Susan Kanios); her grandchildren, Michael Kanios, Christopher Kanios, Anthony Kanios and Lucianne Kanios; and her sister Amelia Soares. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews.
