She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert P. Lyman and Margaret Lyman (Miller); her husband C. Stanley Benson; her grandson Bruce Impey; and her brother Charles Lyman.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Hoyt (Michael Barnaby), Gordon Benson (Barbara), Larry Benson (Kathy) and Gloria Impey (Shaun); her siblings, David Lyman of Royalton, Lois Darling of Royalton, Vivian Pratt of Stockbridge, VT and Velma Plouffe of Richmond, VT; her sister-in-law Patricia Lyman of Bethel, VT; Jeanie Jones (Bruce). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
