Maxine Jane Slack Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Jane Slack (Chelsea, Vermont), who passed away on October 7, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Brainerd (Bill) and Eleanor Brainerd; and her husband Gregory A. Slack. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly S. Dusenbury (Peter), Jeffrey Slack (Judy) and Stephen Slack (Grace Zambon); her grandchildren, Jillian Wilder (Tim), Travis Dusenbury, Jessica Osgood and Megan Slack Samantha (Brandon F.); her great grandchildren, Brooke Osgood, Faith Osgood and Quinn Wilder; her siblings, Diane Drewes of Stamford, CT, Sabra Wood (Jerry) of O'Fallon, MO and Roger Martin (Cathy); and her nephew Andrew Martin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cookville Town Hall.

Donations to the East Corinth Congregational Church or to CHaD at 1 Medical Center Dr, Lebanon, NH 03766, in her memory would be gratefully appreciated.
