He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Mentzer (Barnes) and Ronald Daniel Mentzer; and his sister Ann Bartram. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dane Mentzer; his children, Rebecca "Becky" Mentzer Riethmeier (Raymond Mentzer Riethmeier) of Minnetonka, MN, Molly Mentzer (Lee Kapp) of Chazy, NY and David Mentzer (April Mentzer) of Ferrisburgh, VT; his grandchildren, Timothy, Owen, Henry, Stuart, Megan and Thomas; and his sister Becky Irvin (Tom).
