He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Trudeau and Hélène Trudeau (Theriault); his siblings, Flore, Roger, Carmen, Robert, Gilbert, Lucille, Norman and Bertrand; his wife Erika Belli; his grandson William; and his great grandchild Lincoln.

He is survived by: his children, Christian, Mary (Collins), Joel, Ann (Harmer), Eric, Karen (Wadehul), Danielle and David (Vierling); and his sisters, Gabrielle and Susan.
