Mary Willard Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Willard of Colchester, Vermont, who passed away on August 16, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Willard (Cal); her sons, George (Dodee) and Courtney; her stepdaughter Marietta Chappell; her son-in-law Norman Chappell; her grandson Craig Chappell; and her siblings, Ada Lavigne, Ruth Gleason and Henry Hurlburt.
She is survived by: her daughter Diana; her grandchildren, Rick Chappell (Julie), Kelly Thibault (Dan), Teri Chappell, Jessica Tice, Laurel Tice, Lani Randle (Matthew) and George Willard VIl (Alex); her sister Ella Cota; her friend Ann Ziter; and her caregiver Mariah Francis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home (9 Pleasant St, Essex Junction, VT 05452).
