We announce the death of Susan Sobel of Colchester, Vermont, who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 86. Susan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Konheim and Harvey Konheim; her husband Burton Elias Sobel; and her daughter Elizabeth Ann Avera. She is survived by: her family San Diego; her cousins, Sydney and Maude; her brother Jon Konheim (Rena); her son Jonathan Sobel (Irina); her son-in-law Don Avera; and her granddaughter Skye.
