He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Geyer Sharp and Sarah Elizabeth "Sally" Sharp (Naff); and his siblings, John Flannery IV and Sarah Elizabeth "Sally" Kijak. He is survived by: his wife Isabel; his children, William Sharp, Jr. (Elisabete) of Murrieta, CA, Christine Cartland (Philip) of Shrewsbury, UK and Stephen Sharp (Karen Sharpwolf) of Moretown, VT; his siblings, Robert Sharp and Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Goldfarb (Sharp); and his grandchildren, Caroline Sharp, Carina, Alistair Cartland and Sophia Sharp. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces; and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Church (416 Church Rd, Colchester, VT 05446).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to the Vermont Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association or the McClure Miller Respite House.
